Nifty – Market Behaviour Note
15 December 2025
Nifty opened around the 25,930 level and tested the 25,900 zone early in the session. From there, it bounced back to 26,000 within the first hour.
After reaching 26,000, the index retraced to around 25,950 and showed a response from that area. Later, it again moved toward the 26,050 zone.
Whether the 26,090–26,150 area acts as a reactive zone or allows further expansion remains an important point to observe. This zone becomes a key area to watch in the coming session.
From the recent low of 25,693, Nifty has shifted its direction and is now spending time consolidating between the 25,900 and 26,100 range.
Whether this consolidation continues to behave within the same boundaries, or whether its nature changes, is likely to be revealed by Nifty’s behaviour in the first half of tomorrow.
How experienced market participants observe these zones
They remain patient and observe how price behaves inside the zone.
They wait for clarity and confirmation before participating.
Sudden spikes, slow-moving rallies, or false breakouts are common characteristics of a consolidation phase.
In such an environment, wait and watch remains the most balanced approach.

ONGC – Market Behaviour Note
15 December 2025
ONGC, which had been in a downtrend for several weeks, showed a bounce of around 2.5% from its recent low on 15 December 2025.
This move comes after a decline of nearly 3.5%, followed by a reactive bounce. Because of this shift in behaviour, the stock now enters a phase worth observing from a market behaviour perspective.
Whether this bounce can continue will depend on how price behaves around the ₹231–₹233 zone. This area becomes an important reference point.
It also remains to be seen whether the 15 December high, or the ₹238 level, is revisited. These are levels to watch rather than anticipate.
Whether the stock continues its short-covering move or starts consolidating near the lower zones will be determined purely by price behaviour within these areas.
In such situations, experienced market participants tend to wait and watch for confirmation, allowing the stock to reveal its intent before engaging.

Ashok Leyland – Market Behaviour Note
15 December 2025
Ashok Leyland closed nearly 2% higher, continuing its pattern of higher lows over the past three sessions, starting from the ₹155 area.
This consistent behaviour places the stock in a phase that is suitable for market behaviour observation.
On 15 December 2025, the stock bounced from a reactive zone near ₹162.50 and moved toward the ₹165.70 area within a few hours. After this move, it continued further into the ₹166.50–₹167.50 zone, where it is currently spending time.
Whether the stock moves beyond this zone or begins to consolidate here will be determined by how price behaves in the next session.
Another important aspect to observe is whether the ₹165 area, which earlier acted as a reactive zone, is now being accepted. Any change in the broader structure will become clearer through tomorrow’s behaviour.
